Well. First I dated guys and was straight. And then I dated a girl and found out I was gay. And then I realized I still liked boys. And then I found out there was a word for that. And that word was bisexual.

Ariele Santángel is used to feeling like a screwed up romance novel. When there's two or more genders that can date you, and no one has, it's easily to think that maybe you need to get out more.

Unfortunately, Ariele is stuck inside all summer working a job at a normal, boring, non-au coffee shop.

Alas.

All she has is her best friend Nisma al-Sahli to keep her company. Nisma, the woman who speaks in monotone, silent eye contact, and her artsy screenplays.

But Ariele's life gets a little more confusing when two regulars begin showing up and flirting with her.

First, it's a guy named Ezrah. The next day, it is a woman named Shacora. Then Ezra again the next day. Then Ezra. Then Shacora.

And Ariele begins to fall for them both.

And yet the two begin to seem more one in the same. Never in the same place, but also seeming to remember the other's experiences.

And leaves Ariele to begin to question things, even as she falls in love.
