Rain pattered on the slick coverings of tents as Minecrafters roamed around the Sky Army camp, setting up things and taking cover. Sky was watching his recruits set tents up, his hair damp from the weather. One recruit didn't look like the rest, but Sky ignored the suspicious being and walked into his tent. The sun had started to droop down the sky as recruits settled into their tents and went to bed. Several were on guard so no squids could attack. Sky yawned, stretching sleepily as he settled into his sleeping bag. He closed his eyes tiredly, and he basically passed out as he went straight to sleep. Most of the night had passed by, guards taking their duties, struggling to stay awake as they cautiously patrolled the campside. Shuffling was heard inside the camp, breaking the silence. No guard heard a sound. Nothing was even IN the clearing, just a dimly lit fire weakly dying. The unzipping of a tent was heard, and then a few muffled words. Inside that tent, Sky was peacefully snoring and shuffling around. He was awoken by a tentacle wrapping around his mouth and something slimy grabbing ahold of his arms and legs. Sky was instantly thrashing around, trying to yell for help, but the squid already had him. The squid had a good grip on Sky. Sky couldn't move after a while, he got tired of thrashing around trying to break the squids grip. Sky eventually passed out while the squid dragged him outside of the tent. It quietly dragged him out of the camp into the land around them. Sky was gone. Kidnapped. No one had noticed. No one.

Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." (All credit goes to my sister, who wrote this when she was in the twelfth grade)
