George moves into a new house with a full body mirror that is seemingly permanently attached to his basement wall. That night he is awoken by a strange humming noise. Curious, the brit makes his way downstairs cautiously and stares in awe at the mirror. For the mirror is swirling and rippling like the surface of an ocean, the humming noise emitting from it. A bright blue glows from inside it and George is entranced, he steps forward and places his hand against the supposed-to-be-reflective surface, but he suddenly is sucked forward and into the unknown regions beyond. it practically happened overnight, one night I'm in my bed when I wake up my eyes are covered in an unusual mass and I heard unusual voices. suddenly I felt something pick me up and say: "calm down, for us you're in a high honer position." Humanity's way of life has somehow changed overnight. What was once 7.5 billion people on earth with just 6 off of the surface of the Earth is now practically all on ships orbiting the Earth. Brought there by an unusual race with seemingly good intentions. As for Nathan, like many children of his metal status and age from the looks of things; ends up placed in the care of someone on the ship and, what would be lucky for their kind, in the care of the commander of the ship he's on. But he's willing to trust something that knows his every like and dislike despite his kind nature. Aldi lay on the cold floor, his heart racing and his body drenched in sweat. He had just experienced another nightmare, one of many that had been plaguing him as of late. In this dream, he was lost in a dense forest, pursued by an unseen creature that seemed determined to capture him. He had struggled and screamed for help, but there was no one to hear him. As he lay on the floor, trying to catch his breath, Aldi couldn't help but wonder what these strange dreams meant. He had always been a sound sleeper, but lately he had been waking up in a state of fear and exhaustion, feeling as though he had just run a marathon. He glanced at the old alarm clock on his bedside table, its bright red numbers announcing that it was just past four in the morning. In the distance, he could hear the faint sound of people reciting prayers at the mosque near his parents' house. Aldi sighed and sat up, rubbing his eyes. He knew he wouldn't be able to get back to sleep after the nightmare he had just had. He got to his feet and stumbled over to the window, looking out at the brightening sky. The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon, and the birds outside were starting to chirp, signaling the arrival of a new day. Despite the fatigue and fear that still lingered within him, Aldi couldn't help but feel a sense of hope as he watched the morning dawn. Maybe today would be the day that he finally got some answers about the strange dreams that had been plaguing him.Complete
