What if the Pevensies were not the only human children to bless Narnia? Twins Esme and Arthur were caught in a bombing in France during World War II, only surviving because they were able to hide in the crawl space under their stairs. However, whenever they gather the courage to crawl back out, they are no longer in France.
While on the run in Narnia from the White Witch Jardis and her pack of secret police wolves, the twins meet the Pevensies arrive in Narnia and learn of the Great King Aslan's return, they decide to seek them out and help them fight. If only as a way to return home. Secrets from the twins past, unknown to even them, are revealed and the truth of life in the real world come to light, will the twins want to return home?

Around a year after they have returned from Narnia Edmund falls ill and the doctors believe they cannot save them. A message from Aslan reaches the Pevensies; they can save Edmund if they go to Narnia, for the illness will not exist in that world. All 4 can go, but Edmund will never be able to return, for if he does he will die. When the siblings arrive in Narnia they hear Caspian has called them, for trouble has been stirring. How can 3 kings and 2 queens rule 1 country, with 2 very differently opinionated people.
