La meute est disperser pour leurs études. Scott est Lydia sont parti en collocation dans une autre ville. Quand a Stiles il est rester a Beacon Hills avec son père. Il est en couple avec Lydia. Derek vit au manoir et a reçu un appel de la meute de sa sœur Cora. Cette dernière et morte avec son compagnon et laisse a la charge de Derek leur fille ambre âgée de 2-3 mois. Le loup doit aller la chercher, malheureusement une tempête a dévasté la toiture du manoir . Bien que Derek est ordonné a l'hyperactif de ne pas y monter en son absence , ce dernier n'en fait qu'a sa tête et tombe. Il se réveille a l'hôpital en ayant oublié Lydia la femme qu'il aime depuis la maternelle.
