In a world where soul mates are bound to be together, ZaKriel knew he won't meet his. Although he felt the small undulating of emotions, ZaKriel could feels that his other half, is not in this world where he is. But he still doesn't give up. He will never give up. His hope was given a chance. But at a price. After many, many years later and many, many worlds after, he finally found him. In a world that's going to end.
Since he could ever remember, Aleksei could remember two things. The feeling of something missing and the small insulation of feelings that was not his. As he grew older, the small insulation became bigger and bigger but at the same time, the feeling of something missing is getting more and more painful.
So, he sang. He sang to the person of his other half. He travelled the world with his songs of his emotion, to tell the whole world that he is searching for that someone and that he hopes those songs and the people, could tell his other half, where he is. Even when the end of the world came, he never gave up. Because he knew, that person is here. Finally.
Under the sound of corpse screaming and humans with never end will of fighting for survival, they finally met.

He started to cry more loudly, sitting in the rain. Blood was coming out from his bruised knees but the pain that he is feeling in his heart is more than his knees. "Why god ? Why? What sin did i do to get this kind of luck?" He said more tears came out of his eyes. "Am i so unlucky that I can't even keep the only person whom i thought my everything to myself?" Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them.
