Adesina Hendrix was no ordinary girl. Her life had been filled with obstacles and tribulations one after another. She had gotten Ill when she was a kid, which resulted in her being withdrawn from society. Her mother left after her perfect family was ruined. For years Adesina had struggled to live so much that she had forgotten what it really meant to be alive.

One fateful night after picking up dinner for her family, Adesina is caught in a vicious storm that thrusts her into the world of her favorite television show, The Vampire Diaries. She has to quickly learn how to survive in a world of the supernatural where she can't disclose where's she from or how she knows what'll happen before it does. While determining whether the sudden adventure was fate to teach her to be alive again or if there was someone behind her crossing the veil between worlds.
