Ranked: #71 on Poetry Category November 16, 2016 Don't judge the book by it's cover, Have a look inside to uncover.. Even titles doesn't matter, For the content of a Book or a person's character, Isn't always defined by what people see on the outside, rather.. What is written inside, Scribbles from the heart, which later on becomes actions, acted upon by hand, dictated by the mind. -Rielle Apego. H I M || A Christian Love Story
"Calm down, just calm down." He thought to himself as he tried to even out his labored breathing, it it seems to just have made it worse. His breathing became shorter and harder causing him to clutch his chest as the bitter December air seemed to attack his throat. "Jairo." A soft voice rang out, though his head was still pounding. It caught his attention, "Jairo, you have to calm down, take deep breathes. I promise you're okay." He didn't feel okay though, it wasn't working. "I'm trying." He gasped clenching his eyes shut, he balled up his fist hitting his chest before falling to the ground. Suddenly he stopped, everything stopped. Jairo Agbayani or JAY is a 24 year old man living his everyday life in Chicago, Illinois. He's not satisfied but he's not complaining, however he feels that he should be doing more. Though he has no clue where to start, so he's settled for now. One fateful New Years Eve dared to change the course of his life for the better, and for the first time in his life he just might let it. Juniper Bartok, a 23 year old woman supposedly in her 'prime.' Though she doesn't really know how true that statement is. Because frankly? she doesn't really know where she's going. But as long as God guides, she's decided to follow faithfully. She's been following Christ full heartedly for a few years and it seems to be a new lesson everyday. Not that she's complaining, maybe just a smidge. However, what happens when these two just so happen to end up in the same situation on a bitter New Years Eve night? Disclaimer; This is a Christian, FAITH BASED story, I welcome all to read. But, if you know that is not what you like, please be respectful and move along, God Bless! 🤍Concluida

KOI NO YOKAN (COMPLETED)
"You may kiss the bride." I can hear the people clapping and cheering for the bride and groom standing before us. They face each other with a smile as tears form in their eyes. The groom raises his bride's veil, his hands holding her face, and they stare at each other. The people start to cheer, and their clapping grows louder, and I can't even raise my hands. I just watch them-I watch them intently as I listen to my heart pounding. The groom leans in and finally kisses his bride. He's kissing... my bride. I swallow the lump in my throat and lick my lips. I blink several times to push back the tears I want to fall and force myself to clap and plaster a smile on my face. That's it, Jath. Who would've thought the best thing you could do for the person you love so much was to clap at her wedding with somebody else? Ha, you were planning to give her the whole world, but she's already living in his. What a joke. I endure the sight of my first love and her groom facing us as they hold hands. The smile on her face is the kind of smile I haven't seen in my entire life-one that I devoted to loving her. She never smiled at me like that. I bite my tongue as I stop myself from clapping and watch the people stand up as they walk down the aisle, people cheering and celebrating with them, as I turn my back away from my bride. Seven years. I waited seven years to see the woman I love marry somebody else.Concluida
