In the year 2567, human civilization lived peacefully in the clouds high above the ground. Skytopia was the last hope for humanity. Safe from the infected ones down below. Scientists and researchers worked hard to find a cure for the zombie-liked human, but this was yet to be accomplished.
Annually, the Polaris Space Army will launch a shuttle, transporting multiple troupes of soldiers ready to execute the mass extermination. They claimed that only one can make it out alive after every wave.
Nuclear 531, the top frontline soldier that the PSA had to offer. Unfortunately, he was reported missing after the Colossal Extermination. It was the most brutal extermination the PSA had to arrange. Since then, no one has ever heard from him ever again.
After years passed, the All-Commander gave out an order to search for this lost soldier. A life signal was found on the Surface. Nuclear 836, Elixabeth Montgomery, an amnesiac young soldier was sent to investigate the signal.

[COMPLETED] •Being revised... AGAIN (Progress: Intro-Chap. 3)• "We're going back... Understand? There are more threats out here than we anticipated, and they're all after you-" Lukas' voice erupted into static and chunks... I glared at the man in all black as the light continued to beam and blind me. Without my glasses it was actually painful. And then there was silence. My bare feet hit the metal floor of wherever we had jumped to, and I put my hand up to shield my eyes from the vicious attack of bright light. Not again." Alexi Callidus is living in a post-apocalyptic world... In the 25th Century. The year is 2470. She's been surviving on her own for 4 years and 8 months inside the same building with her only companion without seeing the sun. 5 years after the brutal unexplained murder of her family. 7 years after the genetic disaster of "GASP". 7 years and 4 months after the War of Nations. Everything seems to be barren and empty... But if her super old sci-fi movies didn't teach her that looks deceive, nothing will. Technology, before "GASP" (Genetically Altered Soldiers Program) and the War of Nations, was insane. You could be teleported in the blink of an eye, or healed from a once fatal injury in days. With the majority of the population infected with a viral genetic plague, almost any of the survivors could access this technology... Including Alexi. When a simple quest for survival turns into a journey of a lifetime, will Alexi be able to survive the weight of the gruesome truth when she finally uncovers it? Will our heroine be able to fade into the background and live a quiet life of cunning? Or burst into flames in a sudden blaze of tragedy? -Callidus Rising- •This book's sequel is in progress (Curing Revolution) Highest Ranks: •#1 "secretsocieties" •#1 "armageddon" •#2 "famine" •#2 "plague" •#3 "explorer" •#4 "genetic-engineering" •#5 "artificial intelligence" Com
The Sisterdale Six: A Bag Men Story by JulianTraas
1 part Complete Mature
40 years ago, the world as we know it was destroyed by hordes of the undead. But the threat isn't gone. It has evolved. In the year 2027, the American Government buckled under the weight of millions of undead, whose inexorable push Westward drove away and killed every living thing until only nothingness was left. Many years later, most of the survivors (and their descendants) believe that the infected have been wiped off the face of the Earth. They are mistaken. What the scientists and researchers of the Republic of Sacramento eventually came to understand was that the virus had not been eradicated. Instead, it had changed, become something much worse. Its new form, the Vox Humana Virus, is so called because of its distinct evolutionary advantages over its predecessor: rather than kill the host, VHV in a sense disables the host-body's linkup with the brain, rendering it a puppet in service to the parasite. Because these new "Sleepers" do not shamble or groan or bear any characteristics that would easily distinguish them from a normal human being, they can now infect entire populations before anyone even knows they have arrived. Sacramento's response to this new threat was the institution of the Bureau of Public Health, an innocuously named super-agency whose staff are granted authority above and beyond any other citizen. The Agents, colloquially known as "Bag Men," are the gatekeepers, it is they who identify and exterminate Sleepers. Into this mess Troy Myers will step, one day. However, in 2040, he finds himself in the badlands bordering the cities of the new Tri-Texan Confederacy, looking for something, maybe a place to call home. Maybe, inside all this death, there will be a chance for peace. In the meantime, the kill count racks up and up. If Troy wants to live, he'll have to pay for his time with bullets.
