"You don't really believe that, do you?" I ask and he sits up straighter, drinking his tea.
"Well, I do. Sure, love is great. But if we didn't have specific chemicals in our brain we probably wouldn't feel love as strongly as we do with certain people." He explains and I roll my eyes, drinking my delicious beverage.
"Well clearly you have never loved or been loved properly. Trust me, once you have someone show you how amazing love is..." I trail off and sigh standing up and staring out the window.
"Once you find someone to do that, your opinion will change. Your whole life will change. Suddenly you don't just live for yourself, or worry about yourself. You'll think to yourself, I like this. Will they? Or maybe you'll think, I hope this makes them happy. I don't know how to explain it. But when you love someone, you live for yourself and for them." I ramble on, thinking of how my life with Nicholas has been.
"Well, if I ever find someone that makes me feel like that. I'll come back to you and let you know if my opinions have changed." He says and smiles slightly while sipping his tea.
