Serenity is slowly losing her mind. Literally. She's got anxiety up to her eyeballs thanks to her parents fantastic genes. After a mental breakdown she's uprooted from her beloved hometown and moved cross country to California to stay with her equally insane aunt. The only comfort she finds is swimming. She's been doing it all her life and she's not gonna stop now. But when she joins her new high school's swim team she meets Zane. Cold and aloof she immediately hates him and yet can't seem to stay away.

But if there's one thing she's learned, it's that once you're in the deep end, it's not always easy to get back out.
