A young eighteen year old boy named Ian moves from England to America for a better life. He attends a college in New York and gets a part time job at an adoption center. He loves his job and all the children there. One child stands out though. Aria. She never talks or plays with any children. She'll only talk to Ian. When Ian adopts Aria he wonders what he has got himself into. With barely any money and a child to take forth. Ian also keeps a secret from Aria her whole life. What happens when Aria finds out? What happens when Aria almost dies in Ian's care and his reputation is ruined? What happens when Ian's family finds him in New York? What happens to Aria and Ian at the end?
