"Fear not for the future, weep not for the past." -Percy Bysshe Shelley

97 after the nuclear apocalypse, planet Earth is left simmering in radiation, while the rest of mankind remains in space. No one has been to the ground ever since the bombs wipe out everything...or so they thought. What happens when the Chancellor decides to send all 100 child and teenage criminals down to the ground? What will happen when, among them, is a tiny, 5-year-old girl by the name of Beatrice Wisdom Ward? They will soon overcome many feats; poisoned knives, a bloody plague, and even a bridge bombing. With all that experience with them, will they be able to defeat the enemies in a brutal battle that will decide everything from their near future, to possibly the end of their lives?

With Beatrice's new family by her side, will any of them survive, or will they be picked off one by one?

"Did you really think she was a tender flower you could trample upon, and damage her very soul? She is wildfire. And she is coming to devour you whole." ― Nikita Gill

"You say that you have a whole hell of problems, but you underestimate the hell I've been through," I murmur, as he tilts his head downwards towards mine. He glances back in forth between my eyes for a moment before taking my cheek in his hand. He brings his lips centimetres from mine. "We can walk through any hell the world throws at us," he whispers finally before presses his lips against mine. ~~~~ After Hailey Arrette Kane is found as being a second child to Coralie Kane, she is forced into the Skybox per her sister's request. Her sister, Arlo Riv Kane, managed to convince her dad and the council that she needed to die in Hailey's place, allowing Hailey to live just as long as she did but in the Skybox. After her 21st birthday, which marked her fourth year in the Skybox, the council made a decision. They were going to send 100 delinquents to the ground as an experiment to see whether the level of radiation was survivable or not. In doing so, they managed to sentence almost all of them to an untimely death that was almost inevitable. With the idea of freedom, Hailey knows that she is never safe and that if weaknesses are shown, someone will use them against her. Will she be able to overcome her emotional and mental walls, even if it means that she'd be vulnerable? Being on the ground will change Hailey in ways that the people on the ark would never expect. She will find a better version of herself. Hailey will become what she was always meant to be, a warrior. Cora was very well known in the ark, when she and 99, plus one, others were sent to the ground she struggled to adapt to the new surroundings as did everyone else. She faced the challenges of mentally self preparation of what secrets the Earth held within. 'Why was she arrested?' hardly anyone asked because they knew what Cora had done why she was locked up for nine years of her life. In the process of all she deals with the pain of new kinds of love and being able to trust people after so many years of distrust. Falling for a boy whose sister was your sell mate isn't as easy as it sounds. But this story isn't just about love, because once a hardass always a hardass. ______________
