Gerard's a mess. He smokes and drinks, and he's a miserable piece of shit. He could never find a job and never had much friends. Though when Mikey called him one day, he offered Gerard a job at the All Boys Christian private school just a few blocks downtown.
When he goes to work each week, a student in particular starts getting on his soft side even though their love is illegal.
WARNING: there is a lot of mentions of drugs, smoking, alcohol and things of that sort in this story, along with religion and offensive comments about Christianity (and I don't hate the religion FYI) If this triggers you in some way then DO NOT read this story.

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide.
