Ruby is finally getting used to being an adult when a virus known as the savior is released. She witnesses some of the people she knows go crazy and turn into a cleanser . When the cure is discovered she does everything in her power to get it to help others. Dylan is a new ally of hers who saw his family slowly become one of the cleansers. He wanted to helper save others so they don't go through the same fate.
