Modern day society doesn't allow you to have a personality, you have to go with the crowd because if you go against it you'll get pushed by people who do follow the crowd like a one-way path. If you go the same way as everyone else, you'll all end up in the same place, maybe drunk, maybe arrested, maybe poor, maybe hated, maybe you have to leave your friend behind because she can't keep up and is trampled by the people who follow the crowd.
But you can escape the crowd if your stronger, faster or you can quit that harsh stampede with a knife. Find tranquillity, but how will that peaceful place affect others? What will people do? How will they react?
You never know anything, your always questioning, not knowing.

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

I never thought my life would be like this; trapped in a dark room and scared for my life. A blindfold was wrapped around my head, covering my eyes, making me completely blind and on high alert. My breathing was ragged and I could smell the mold that was most likely covering most of the room. My hands were tied behind my back, my feet tied together and I was sitting on the floor, propped up against a wall. I heard a slight shuffling across the room that was coming closer to me. I tried my hardest to keep my breathing under control to seem confident and fearless, but in reality, I was shitting my pants and squealing like a scared little girl on the inside. To say I was terrified was a drastic understatement. I was petrified, shaking with fear, but they were not going to know that. "Who are you?!" I demanded. If I was going to die, it would be with the name of my kidnapper. A voice boomed closely to me, "Well, if I told you that, this wouldn't be any fun." **************** Skylar James, a 24 year old girl, is kidnapped by a very well known gang who has a vendetta against her family. In an attempt to find light in her situation, she makes friends with one of the members. Logan Grant was forced into the gang at the young age of 16. He was abused until he became emotionless and ruthless, so that one day, he could rule the gang. Everything was going smoothly until Skylar is brought in. With a blindfold wrapped around her head, he instantly feels bad for her, though he cannot show it. Afraid of getting caught, he shows no emotion while others are around. Though, behind closed doors is a whole other story.

Willow's always been known as the good girl with the wealthy parents who could do no wrong. Little do they know that this seemingly perfect girl has some less than perfect secrets; and the fact that she's been sneaking out past curfew every night since the beginning of summer isn't the worst one. Distancing herself from the people at school has become lonely, but everything changes when a group of bad boys that she meets after curfew one night transfer to her school and begin to take an interest in her; one even more than the rest. But will they be able to protect her when events from her past re-surface and begin to get her into more trouble than she ever wanted? ********************** We were a circuit, electricity flowing through us at every connection, every light touch igniting a heat that was exhilarating but dangerous. Like we could catch fire and burn to the ground at any second. "Did you take your own advice? Did you ever forgive yourself?" I whispered, my words evaporating in the heat around us. He moved towards me, trapping me against the car door as his lips traced over my jaw, down to my neck. "This," he whispered, his thumb tracing the waistband of my jeans, making my breathing falter. "Allowing myself to feel this happiness, to feel you...this is me forgiving myself." He kissed me, calming the raging storm in me and igniting a new one. I wasn't sure which would cause more destruction, but I knew only one had pretty blue eyes and a effortless smile that could convince me it was all worth it. It probably was.

M for manipulative A for attitude I for impulsive S for sarcastic I for irresistible E for emotionally unavailable Growing up, you're told that the safest choice in destructive situations is to walk away. Whether it's a destructive personality or you're in an uncomfortable situation, you leave because your conscience tells you that enough is enough. --- But my conscience is on indefinite holiday in the Bermuda Triangle. I am the destructive personality that your parents warned you about. The girl who hangs out with people that pressure you into drugs. The girl who invites you to a party, fully knowing it will end early because her "friends" are completely neurotic. I'm the girl who encourages you to sleep with multiple people, regardless of who they are or what they have, because who says you can't? If I invite you out, don't expect me to stick around long because I get bored easily-leaving you stranded in a field somewhere in the middle of nowhere, telling you to call a taxi-even if there's no service. I'll admit, I'm a girl who didn't care about much of anything or have much to give. Maybe you'd see things differently if you understood the true horror I've been through. --- Then, after a binge and a drive, I end up in trouble. But that's not the only trouble I find. --- Suddenly, the door swung open, and in rushed my mother. She saw me sitting in the chair and rushed over, scolding me almost immediately. "Maisie Scarlett Brooks, what were you thinking?!" "I was thinking it was time to come home and go to bed. Instead, I get pulled over by some obnoxious police officer."

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature.
