Nicolet is an orphan in a fantasy middle ages based world. She lost her parents when she was very young and doesn't remember the incident that leads to their tragic deaths. She has been living in an orphanage facility her whole life and in this society, once you turn 18, you get chosen for an apprenticeship. Of course, when all of the slots are filled you are forced to become a laborer for the kingdom you reside in. Nicolet has no idea what will become of her life. Once she is given her assignment she wants to celebrate with the people that she considered family. They took her under their wing and raised her, but because of unfortunate circumstance could not adopt her. She rushes to their home to find them both killed and their daughter missing. With the only person left that she cared for kidnaped, most likely by the people that killed her parents, she felt that it was her responsibility to find her, take care of her, and bring her back home. Join Nicolet on her journey of self-discovery, love, and heartbreak as she tries to save the last part of her family.

Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future.
