Damien doesn't know who he is. At least, he doesn't think he does. When he wakes up on a beach with no recollection of when he got there, covered in scars and horribly confused, the last thing he needs to hear is that he isn't even human anymore. With the help of the inhabitants of St Martin's Rehab Centre for Supernaturals, and the clues provided by his mother and one photo album, he sets about trying to regain the memories he lost and unravel the mystery of the man he once loved. As his past starts to return to him and he realises the scale of his loss, the pieces of a gruesome puzzle start to fit together. Shit. That's how Derrick's life was going after the accident. Hazy memories and scars he didn't need were splintering what was left of what he did remember. Derrick's tattoo shop seemed to get along just fine without him, his magic abilities were short circuiting and for the first time in his life, he wasn't sure who he was anymore. Not to mention some guy named Mike insisted that they were best friends before he lost his memory. As if he'd be friends with someone who breathed positivity. The only thing Derrick wants to focus on right now is recovery and finding himself. But life, also known as Mike, keeps getting in the way. Completed January 13, 2019. Genre: MM soft magic romance with some angst and a hurt/comfort slant.
