Many of times she had failed and that plagued her mind as she tried to move on.

Many of people she had left behind because she couldn't face their disappointment, her failure

So many lives she failed to save because she was either to weak or to late.

Hopefully now things would be different.

Hopefully now she would be strong enough.

Elizabeth wanted to do better, be better than her past self but it was hard. Hard not being weighed down by her past mistakes and past failures. The constant pop ups of passed acquaintances didn't help much either. And not that an enemy of her past wants to destroy all that she has built. She has to hope that she'll be strong enough this time, or die trying.
