When she moves to her new school and meets some boy named Jake.He knows she has a secret but doesn't push her. What happened in Alex's past haunts her and blames herself for what happend. After what happened in her past she promised herself to never let anyone get close to her because everything she loves either dies a horrible death or leaves her in the dark. But when a boy comes along he changes everything and shows her that she is not alone. He falls madly in love with her. But Alex doesn't know if she is ready to let go what happened and tell him. She's afraid if she tells him the truth he'll hurt her and leave.
