You are the sister of Marius Pontmercy. The both of you have always been close, so when he begins to disappear for days at a time, you grow suspicious.
Things take a turn for the worse.
Once you spot Marius speaking to another man about the revolution, it all begins to add up, and you soon feel attached to the cause- however, your father is far from pleased. You get thrown out of your house, kicked onto the streets, and lose every right to your family name... so thanks to all of that, you decide that it is only right that you prove your worth by fighting in the revolution.
It is quick to become far more than you bargained for.
