Boredom can change everything. It has for Dan Smith in the past but when Dan meet's Lola at Kyle's garden party they discover many untold secrets about their past that they happen to have shared without knowing each other.
Throughout parts of the book Dan opens up to the true meanings of his songs as their passion for one another increases when things become unfolded creating Bastille.
