The mission should have been simple. It was a get in-get out situation. Keith had done them an uncountable number of times before, this one shouldn't have been different. It should have run like clockwork. Yet; there he was. Passed out cold and covered in oozing cuts and bruises. Merely a skeleton of someone Keith cared dearly for. Keith didn't understand why he was there. How long had he been strapped to this table, fed through a tube and slowly dying? Why hadn't the rest of the team told Keith he was missing? Most importantly, how was he meant to get him out of there and back to the Castle without being caught? And why, once he wakes, can't Lance remember anything?

"S-Stay, p-please," Keith mumbled, hiding his face in his pillow. Lance nodded climbing beside the small boy. Keith turned to face him, his face flushed as he looked at Lance, "T-Thanks." "For what?" Lance whispered, his breath close enough for Keith to touch. "B-Being by my side," Keith moved closer to Lance, closing the small distance between them, "I-I thought y-you'd all hate me." "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. "I could never hate you." ------------------------------------------------- Keith gets kidnapped during a simple mission of the paladins. -DISCONTINUED- Lance starts liking Keith, so he starts hating himself and starts being distant from the team and having no motivation anymore. Keith notices that Lance is distancing himself but he doesn't know what to do. One morning Keith went to get lance for training and he see's lance on his bed and thought nothing of it, because he thought he was sleeping, but now he was bleeding out on the bed after a mental breakdown about how disgusting he is for liking a male. They get in contact with earth and Lance visits his family, and tries to find the fact that Keith is his boyfriend. But in a heated make-out session, Lance's twin sister walked in on him and keith. Lance's sister outed him to his family. They got married but halfway through the reception there was an attack.Complete

Keith is under the impression he's not wanted, so it only makes sense to him that, should the situation arise, he would be the better candidate for being sent god-knows-where by a wormhole aimed directly at Voltron- the team, well... the team just wants Keith back. or Keith Self-Sacrifice Kogane lands himself on a hostile alien planet and finds himself in the hands of merciless alien researchers who don't fully understand the concept of pain, nor the concept of humans. And they want to know more. The question is, can the paladins find their missing friend before it's too late, or will their duties as Defenders of the Universe sidetrack them enough that Keith is pushed to the backs of their minds?
