They seemed to be obscured right now hence they probably didn't want any trouble that may cause their brightness to diminish. Well, I couldn't blame them. I heard Thalia sigh, probably done with my shit. Again. "You can answer it if you-" "In the past," I cut her mid-sentence, still not looking at her in fear of her dark browns reminding me of someone else's. Get him out of your head, I told myself. He doesn't deserve you. "Why's that?" she asked, shifting her position on the cold, hard concrete. "Because they are continuously living their lives based on their history, on their past experiences, on their failures like..."
