Brian Bow starts to write letters to his girlfriend, Allison Hughes while she is in New York studying in NYU. He would rather talk to her on the phone or text her, but Brian wants to seem like a romantic boyfriend to his girlfriend since she told him to step it up. Brian writes his letter to Allison, but it's sent to the wrong address. Sarah Weston, a shy and intelligent girl receives his letter and decides to write back telling him he has the wrong address.
