Earth: Day 50: Hour 14. Jason just turned 16 and everyone knows that's when you get your special "trade mark". But there's a little something different about this place. Dreaming, wondering and ideas are all illegal. Chipped as a baby everyone knows everything goes the same everyday. Until Jason meets his 5 best friends and form a group called The Castaways. Fugitive of the law they dream, wonder, have ideas and run on a daily basis. Their parents are ashamed to have them so they shunned them and aren't welcome in their own homes. The second and final short story in this little series I've construed. This little sequel plays off the many heavy themes and elements presented in the first story. Around 2K words in length( upon its completion), this wraps up my first little short story Duology. This story follows the personal view of two coastal survivors, young Charla & Denny, in the wake of a nuclear apocalypse. The story intends to depict a glimpse of communities of sea-faring people and the environment they are fighting to survive in. Between perils of sea and perils of land, will the coastal peoples obtain life or death?
