When things went wrong, when mistakes needed a scapegoat, the blame always found its way to her. It didn't matter if she deserved it. It never did. And then, 𝐡𝐞 happened. He didn't see her as a substitute. He didn't compare her to ghosts of the past. He loved her- 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 her- like she was the only one who had ever mattered. At a young age, tragedy struck her life when her parents were taken from her in a devastating accident, leaving her to seek refuge in the home of her neighbors. In the aftermath of such profound loss, she transformed into a quiet, gentle soul, her laughter stifled and her spirit dulled. However, everything changed when their son entered her life, igniting a spark of joy that had long been extinguished. His presence brought light to her world, and for a fleeting moment, she felt the warmth of happiness enveloping her once more. Yet, as her heart opened, she became excessively kind, almost too trusting, her sweetness radiating like a beacon. This innocence, however, did not go unnoticed; it made her vulnerable to the whims of others. Friends could easily slip into her life, and admirers could easily fall for her charm, which gnawed at him with an unsettling worry. The thought of her mingling with others, of her kindness being exploited, consumed him. His feelings morphed into an all-consuming obsession, a possessiveness that wrapped around her like a vine, tightening with every passing moment. In his eyes, she was meant to belong solely to him, a treasure to be cherished and protected from the world's harshness. Anyone who dared to approach her, anyone he perceived as a potential threat, would find themselves swiftly removed from her life. To him, the only way to ensure her safety and happiness was to keep her entirely to himself, away from the prying eyes and greedy hearts of others. She was his, and he would stop at nothing to guard that claim, believing that in his embrace, she would find the only true love she would ever need.
