I glanced in the distance to see a woman. She had fair skin, blue eyes, long brown hair that went past her shoulders, and her smile caused butterflies to fill my stomach. She turned around and our eyes locked. A small sad smile crept on her lips, before she turned her attention back to him.

I felt my heart break to pieces, and I couldn't stop the tears from streaming down my face. I caused her so much pain, yet she's still smiling. I smiled sadly through my tears, and turned around going back home.
