In the realm of the vampires the government assigns each vampire a mortal to watch over, keep them safe no matter what, even risk their live to keep this one mortal safe. They will never find out about them or what they really are. This vampire is the mortal's "Keeper". Harry Styles, one of the most dangerous vampires theres is, is assigned to be Zoe Hayes' Keeper. Zoe and Harry completely contrast each other. Zoe is sweet, gentle, caring, nothing close to the ex-crimmnal who is Keeper. New Years Eve, Zoe is driving home from a party when a drunk driver wrecks her car off the road, seriously endangering her life.
