In the realm of the vampires the government assigns each vampire a mortal to watch over, keep them safe no matter what, even risk their live to keep this one mortal safe. They will never find out about them or what they really are. This vampire is the mortal's "Keeper". Harry Styles, one of the most dangerous vampires theres is, is assigned to be Zoe Hayes' Keeper. Zoe and Harry completely contrast each other. Zoe is sweet, gentle, caring, nothing close to the ex-crimmnal who is Keeper. New Years Eve, Zoe is driving home from a party when a drunk driver wrecks her car off the road, seriously endangering her life. Harry, doing his job, saves her but he overlooks one detail: Zoe isnt supposed to know about the realm. Harry, ignorant to the rules, takes her to his coven in attempt to protect her from the government's punishment for exposing the realm. His attempt isnt quite good enough, with Zoe's life, his life, and his covens life in danger, they are forced to constantly run from the governments appointed searchers. Nothing could get worse...
