This story is actually based on a real life event that happened to my friend and it's just too good to be kept alone soo here it is. (I'm substituting the people as different characters for privacy reasons)
Tiffany Li was your average every day high schooler. And like every high schooler, she had a crush. Shane Wang, a really nice and well known guy for his goofiness and intellect. Her friend group consisted of 3 other people. Kate Dang, Pam Nguyen and Jazzy Smith.
The friends were together since 7th grade and now it's sophomore year of high school. The three friends had supported Tiffany into trying to ask out Shane. Shane was also in the friend group but he has many other friends so he wanders around. Tiffany became really close to one of the friends in the friend group throughout the years. It was Jazzy that she became close with.
She felt lots of admiration and a closeness towards her. Little did she know that her attraction was not towards her as a friend but a yearning to become something more than just friends.
