Laura is a 13-year-old girl who lives with her uncles Thomas and John she loves them so much she calls them her dads little did she know that her real parents would take full custody of her you see Heidi Hansen and Paul heere are her real parents she knows her real parents because of Thomas they are family friends but she doesn't care she finds out she has to move to L.A. to be with her real family she doesn't want to go but she has to in the story Laura has 2 step brothers Evan Hansen and Jeremy heere she learns that both of there passes are horrible and learns that life isn't fair to these boys she had to learn to love them as there her real brother Thomas and John want Laura back and fight for her custody this battle was not easy but will they win and take Laura away from her brothers and family or will they lose and Laura gets to stay with her family and loves them forever you will have to see and find out
