"Why are you so defensive?" He asked me, squinting his eyes as he stared straight into me, a little smirk playing on his lips. 
See, in times like this I feel like I should just shrug my shoulders and say, "I just am." But shit, isn't that weak?
I took a step toward him, getting closer. I stared straight up into his blue indigo darts, sharp yet still full with question and cockiness. I felt my heart race as I spoke broadly, "Go fuck yourself with the fat end of a pineapple." 
I then turned my head sharply, my black silky hair hitting his face as I walked away,  a smirk playing on my lips.
