In the lands of what used to be known as the place called North America now stands the nation of Panem, An outlawing Capitol, surrounded by twelve districts. The Capitol is known to be harsh and cruel, forcing districts to offer one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to compete in the annual hunger games, to fight to the death, till one remains standing. Leslie Heart, at the age of 13, is the chosen girl for district 11, but luckily her sister, Alice Heart steps in to take her place.
