Olivia Spencer was what is commonly known as a problem kid. She never meant to, but trouble seemed to follow her everywhere she went. Her mother always assured her that she was special and that one day she would understand. But with the arrival of a green-eyed stranger at her house, Livy found herself drawn into a whole new world, where the goddess of night is angry at her simply for being alive.

1st Place in the Percy Jackson Wattys 2018 * '"So it's settled then." Zeus said, "In order to solidify our truce with Nyx Apollo will marry Nyx's demigod daughter Ariadne."' * Ariadne lived in hell. Not the figurative type of hell-she really lived in hell. She was born and raised in Tartarus, the home of monsters, by her godly mother Nyx. She never knew anything about her father other than the fact that he was a son of Athena, and he was dead. Ariadne always dreamed of the world. She had lived her life in darkness, never seeing the light of day. That is until she turned sixteen, and her mother made a deal with the Olympians. Nyx would side with them against Kronos if Ariadne married Apollo. Unable to see her mother's real motives behind the deal, Ariadne jumps at the chance to leave hell, and get away from her mother. But Olympus is in the middle of a war, and Ariadne had never been one to sit out of a fight. If the war wasn't enough, Ariadne finds herself falling in love with the last person she ever expected to fall for. She fell head over heels for Apollo. * Disclaimer: This story is based around the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo books. All rights go to Rick Riordan. All characters from the original Rick Riordan books belong to Rick Riordan. Characters such as Ariadne belong to me. When a new foe rises against Olympus, she will be forced to come face to face with plans millennia in the making and inescapable certainties. * Book 3 | The Joy of the Sun [Blurb] Ariadne has been through enough, selling strollers at a mother-and-baby shop may just be the final straw. With her husband, the god Apollo, missing in action and her pregnancy nearing it's end, the shadow of Nyx, as always, casts itself over Ariadne's life. * Book 4 | The One Who Could Destroy Even Zeus [Blurb] Ariadne is dead. She leaves behind a son who is hardly a day old and a husband who is mortal and fighting his own foes.
