"Grab life with your hands and never let it go." Beth has been the good girl ever since she could talk but when in high school a great danger comes about. After seeing a murder she becomes overwhelmed and is sure she is going insane.
After meeting crazy rocker, Faith, they both run away. Beth's life turns upside down as she becomes addicted to drugs, drinks alcohol daily and has dozens of one night stands. She ignores her families calls for help and she is soon reported as missing. Maybe she wants to be missing.
She's soon depressed and knows that her life is ruined. Calm, badass, arrogant, boy Jace gives her thrills she longs for, but heartache can hurt an already depressed girl.
She has a desperate need to be numb. And if she wants to live, she needs to change, but is change that easy or will a stronger thought take over?
