Ayase Tachibana likes to daydream. She has always had a vivid imagination. And while that isn't a bad thing, it's caused her more than a few problems. For most of her life, Ayase has been looking for an escape, a way to flee to her imagined worlds and be free from what she sees as a boring and monotonous life. When she meets Kyousuke Kuro, she is introduced to The Cube: a device which allows one to enter a world where reality is dictated by one's imagination.
