Same note from the future goes for this book.

A world of loneliness. Isolation. A world ravaged by infection, human cruelty, famine and murder.
Will the survivors have what it takes to survive in the harsh world presented to them.
Will they surrender their humanity in the name of self preservation? Or will they join the ever growing ranks of the dead, adding to the total death count of this extinction event?

*NOTE* please pay attention to the dates put before the perspective of a character, e.g, January 14-15-16 etc, it is very important to understanding the key elements of the start of this book.

There is something different about this virus. It doesn't just make you sick. It kills you. It reanimates, it turns you into something else. An ordinary teen? That's what Amber would consider herself. She checks all the boxes for a regular teenager. Boyfriend. Annoying brothers. Loving parents. Sporty. Smart. But what happens when her school is put on lockdown for a mass infection spreading? People are killing each other for supplies. The so-called "infected people" are eating others alive. They're never sleeping, never crying with pain. The only thing stopping them is to destroy the brain. Now, Axel, whose always had to fend for himself lunges into this new world with the idea of survival. But is it so different from before? With his lonely and depressing childhood, he makes a promise to someone. He will protect those he loves. Even if it means he loses his humanity in the process. Prepare for chair edging action and dangerous foes that will keep you wondering about whether humanity actually exists. And if these sacred lives will be tattered, tested, and ruined in the dangerous new world that has hit them. I always imagined the end of the world being something out of the Bible or movies. I even imagined and mentally prepared myself for a Zombie apocalypse. Which, I guess is what this was... News reports live all over the world showing cases and recordings of hospital patients or people on the streets attacking one another. Eating their flesh then attacking other people, while the ones who got bit and died came back and started attacking the ones who ran- and didn't. Even those in the military didn't stand a chance. It would have been almost horrifying if it weren't for the fact that I was so unattached to everything. Now I'm alone...

Book ONE of Out Of... series •~•~• To be scared of something is to not want to be near it, or see it...or feel it. To fear something is the same thing but more intense. But to live in your nightmares, to watch them come to life every single day, month, year, is unimaginable. Terrifying, unreal. That's my life, or my new one. I live, feel, see, and breath my nightmare. Every passing minute is a fight for survival. Every single day isn't exactly life anymore. I've lost more than I can remember. I've seen hell and I've looked into the eyes of the devil. I've learned to not get attached to people because at one point, they are going to die. There is no hope There is no cure For now, there only exists the living and the dead. #450 in Virus 8/25/18 #104 in Virus 10/11/18
