Betty, also known as Elizabeth Cooper wasn't one to hide away secrets, except one from the darkest time of her life; her childhood. No one knew she wanted to leave the "perfect home" and never go back. But what if someone enters into her life bringing hope? Betty just turned 16. Can this person help her feel loved? Feel wanted? Could they save her from herself and her deep and darkest secret?
Jughead, also known as Forsythe Pendleton Jones III, just moved to Riverdale leaving behind his mother and sister in Toledo. With his father working at Pops, Jughead would be found everyday in the booth typing away for his novel. When Jughead joins the Riverdale High newspaper, the Blue and Gold, he finds himself in a world full of secrets and having a love for someone he wants to protect. Jughead being a part of the Southside Serpents, he will use to protect a family from someone who is meant to love them. What is Jughead Jones getting himself into?

So, they send Forsythe in as Jughead Jones to see if he could get close enough the girl to be brought behind the scenes of her family's illegal business. You might be wondering why they didn't have Betty do it, but we'll get to they why later. But, things didn't go as planned. Especially as someone may be hoping he could help her out. Help her out of her family's illegal life. He doesn't want to one day have to break the doors in and arrest them all. He wants to help her.
