Now Available in Print ... This novel touches on raw emotions of what it's like to be alone and to be ignored, to have the support of family and friends, and the meaning of unconditional love.

The story revolves around a pair of millennials. Their careers are on the fast track. Dylan is a newly hired executive director, charged with marketing and merchandising a department store chain. From the moment he enters the corporate offices he is intrigued by Julie. She's a clothing buyer who's happily living her solitary life. They quickly recognize the chemistry between them and subtle feelings suggest they should be together. However, Dylan can't get over a previous love. Julie's never had a boyfriend. Privately confused as to why each believes random signs and coincidences say they should be together, they must journey through the Carolinas, balancing their professional and personal emotions.

From the coastal town of Beaufort, SC, to the mountains of Boone, NC, with a tobacco field in between, this is a tale about discovering the meaning of happiness. It's okay to hope that one day you can find a friend and a fairy tale ending. It's called your twinkle fiddle.

Nicky Peters sets out on an emotional roller coaster when she creates a melody from an old high school journal entry which develops into her debut song for her second album. Her personal and professional life become quickly complicated when she finds herself standing in front of the one person she thought she'd never see again, the same person who unfortunately understands all too well who Nicky's hit song is really about...him. ******** Nicky Peters' rise to fame in country music was fast, being plucked out of obscurity at seventeen after her YouTube videos went viral. After she pens a very personal song from one of her old high school journals called, "Honestly," for her much-anticipated second album, she realizes her feelings will be under a microscope for the whole world to see, including Nate Stanton, her ex-best friend from childhood. He also just happens to be the one person who truly understands the meaning behind her heart-wrenching song. What happens when fate brings her face-to-face with the boy she thought she'd never see again? Nicky quickly realizes airing her emotions out in public via a number-one, hit song can make things complicated fast. As Nate and Nicky reconnect and navigate through their past, truths are revealed, assumptions are at an all-time high, and a publicity nightmare looms which jeopardizes all she's worked so hard for. While Nicky's misfortunes add up, she realizes fame comes with a price. She begins to understand the cold, hard facts, keeping her career intact as country's "it" girl and maintaining a personal life may be more difficult than it sounds, especially when you're living through a public scandal.

❝He was the scary story parents read to their kids. And she fell in love with a monster.❞ ----- Xanthe Jacox is a sarcastic, fierce and down to earth eighteen-year-old. Did I mention sarcastic? She's that one girl who would probably be the first to get killed in a horror movie just for shouting 'hello?' to absolutely nothing, so God knows what'll happen if she gets kidnapped. Which she does. By Alaska's most wanted outlaw and famous gang leader. Enter Arsen Reed; dangerous, dark and cold-hearted. No one knows why he's like that, or how he's like that. But once he lays eyes on Xanthe, everyone knows she belongs to him. But Arsen hides a lot of secrets, and Xanthe has a fair share of her own, too. Despite the thin line between love, hate, goofy guys and lovesick gangsters, things for Arsen, Xanthe and the rest of the group are not looking up. That's what happens when you turn into a criminal. So walk through this story with me, filled with drama, crazy idiots, murder, many - confusing - plots and, most important of all, reckless love. ----- ❝Pretty little words covered your dark and crooked heart. With a forked tongue, I fell in love, then I fell apart. You are so cold-hearted.❞ ----- Buckle up, kids. This is going to be a nasty ride. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Contains swearing, starts off as cliche, mentions of rape (not related to MC), and it gets disturbing.
