The werewolf community was in shambles. There were no packs now except the Royals. Every werewolf that was in a pack was now a rogue, every Alpha, Beta or any ranked warrior was stripped of their title, everyone was on their own.
People had lost faith, werewolves had lost touch with their primal side, no one shifted anymore. Everything was recorded by the Royals. But there were whispers. There were rumours of myths and legends, of a group of wolves who were rebelling.
They were the stuff of legends, stories to tell children. They ran in the moonlight, recruiting. Their leader was a legend among wolves. He was young, fearless and kind, a rival to the king. Yet no one could say they had ever seen him.
Then there was Evie. A lone wolf on the run who seemingly stumbled into the middle of the soon to be war. She was uneducated on everything wolf. She wasn't sure how she had stumbled upon the town that the rebel group called home but she had. But that was only the beginning of what was to come for Evie.
