I've been on Wattpad for a while now, and I know there are plenty of these already, but I need to release some hot air.
So, after much pondering and debating, I've decided to add my very own rant book about Wattpad despite the fact that there are already a sea of them out there.
Most (probably all) are going to be a few peeves that I have about this platform. That said, there is really no need to take this seriously. I'm just putting my thoughts out there, and I don't have the intention of doing it to discourage or hurt anyone.
For those of you who wish to continue, I sincerly hope you enjoy and don't get offended. I'll try to keep it as friendly as possible. ;)

My awkward rants about the cliche books on Wattpad. (The title kind of says it all, but I don't like seeing a blank Description box) I hope you enjoy my apparent ability to make people laugh. Warning: these are my spur-of-the-moment thoughts. But, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who searches for hours upon hours (okay, ten minutes) searching for that perfect non-cliche book. This is for all aspiring writers who want to know the don'ts (just the don'ts) of writing a wattpad book, and also for anyone who loves it when other people are made fun of. Fall in love with Lana as she stumbles through life as a clueless naive 17-year-old supermodel. Actually, don't fall in love with her. 1) I've been on Wattpad for a good minute, and I think I can safely say I've seen it all. 2)I love Wattpad, and all its inhabitants dearly, most of 'em anyway... The reason I decided to write this book was because I found it hard to find actual guidelines on the internet for this kind of stuff. So I put together what I learned from many authors so this is basically a rant/rule book for the way I would qualify as good writing. Yes...Another Rant Book (OLD discontinued)
*This rant book is old and many of the chapters hold opinions that don't necessarily stand for me today. Read at your own risk and feel free to ask me about anything questionable! So yeah, the title says it all. This is yet another rant book to add to the thousands here on this site. Is it a bit cliché? Yes. Are rant books sometimes pointless? Yes. But do I need to vent out bottled-up rage? Absolutely. Also, as a quick warning, some of these rants might be irrational. I'm a teenager; there's still some maturing I need to do. This is a collection of things I hate in society, entertainment, school, and maybe just life in general. Just to clarify, these rants and rages are solely my opinion. If you're offended, well then, you don't have to read them and you don't have to agree. Like I said, I need someplace to release the anger, and this seems to be a nice peaceful way to do it. Wattpad Cliches
Let's face it. The majority of stories on Wattpad are the same and it's not just the plots but practically everything. The same characters, the same tragic backgrounds, the same openings, the same ways of describing things, the same plots- everything. Here I'll name some things I've seen in most of the stories on here so maybe your story won't end up a clone of endless clones.
