A young water mage, named Maya, is terrible at casting spells. For any other mage in the kingdom of water this wouldn't be a huge deal, but as the princess of the entire kingdom, she needs to have her powers under control. She is forced to seek help from a fire mage, named Blaze, who she instantly becomes enemies with. He is the son of a tutor and was forced by the king to come and tutor Maya. Blaze's father had been killed when he was young by a water mage, and he blames Maya. They refuse to work together and hate each other. But as a war breaks out between their kingdoms, they are forced to ignore their differences and save their people. As they work together, they discover a new feeling brewing between them.
