As far as her eyes could see, war ships littered the blood red seas in the dusk. Where the simple fishing villages stood, there were now stockades. The memories of her blood soaked path centuries ago returned. A sole survivor. Except this was not Echizen where her journey first began. The reality was in Hakata bay. She reminisced as the cold wind rushed past her face. She will never flee her new home. Her old homeland across the seas no longer existed. Opening her glowing red eyes, a flaming sword manifested in her hand. Humans were not her concern. Unseen to the mortal eyes were the foreign supernatural beings accompanying the human invaders from the first landed ship. Looking upwards, the rolling thunder roared in the gathering clouds - she knew the signal. The strong winds started to pick up as the sea tidal waves grew larger and larger. Familiar dances of the Yamato dragons within the clouds made her smile. Ame has spoken. "What are you waiting for...," a deep voice whispered gleefully as darkish wisps started taking on human forms in combat gear. "Let's start...", she gripped her sword and charged forth. ~~~ Back to the days when ancient China was known as Kure (呉) and Japan was Yamato (大和), humans transversed the rough seas for cross cultural exchanges. Unknown to the humans, the Kami, also known as gods or deities, as well as supernatural beings, known as yōkai or ayakashi, trailed along invisibly with them from the great continent. Some establishing themselves slowly like their human counterparts as they integrated with native Yamato and Emishi beliefs, while others failed to get any reception and faded out of existence in the new lands.

The storm has passed-but the sea has not gone silent. Weeks after the Blood Moon's fall, Camp Tsukikage stands on uneasy ground. The kami whisper of shifting tides and old powers stirring beneath the waves. The ocean itself grows restless, and the god of storms-Ryūjin-no longer answers the prayers of his followers. When the first signs of flooding strike the coasts of Japan and yokai begin washing ashore, Jack "Shin" Ryker and the Tidebreakers are summoned once more. Their mission: descend into the Sea Palace, Ryūjin's legendary underworld domain, and uncover what force has bound their divine father in silence. But the journey below the surface is nothing like the mortal world. The depths are alive with forgotten gods, sunken temples, and ancient creatures that even Ryūjin once feared. Old friends will fracture, new allies will emerge, and the line between god and mortal will blur beyond recognition. As the Blood Moon Cult rises anew under the serpent's call, Jack will face the truth behind his power- that every storm has a heart, and every tide demands a price. The sea remembers its own. And it's coming to collect.
