As far as her eyes could see, war ships littered the blood red seas in the dusk. Where the simple fishing villages stood, there were now stockades. The memories of her blood soaked path centuries ago returned. A sole survivor. Except this was not Echizen where her journey first began. The reality was in Hakata bay. She reminisced as the cold wind rushed past her face. She will never flee her new home. Her old homeland across the seas no longer existed. Opening her glowing red eyes, a flaming sword manifested in her hand. Humans were not her concern. Unseen to the mortal eyes were the foreign supernatural beings accompanying the human invaders from the first landed ship. Looking upwards, the rolling thunder roared in the gathering clouds - she knew the signal. The strong winds started to pick up as the sea tidal waves grew larger and larger. Familiar dances of the Yamato dragons within the clouds made her smile. Ame has spoken. "What are you waiting for...," a deep voice whispered gleefully as darkish wisps started taking on human forms in combat gear. "Let's start...", she gripped her sword and charged forth. ~~~ Back to the days when ancient China was known as Kure (呉) and Japan was Yamato (大和), humans transversed the rough seas for cross cultural exchanges. Unknown to the humans, the Kami, also known as gods or deities, as well as supernatural beings, known as yōkai or ayakashi, trailed along invisibly with them from the great continent. Some establishing themselves slowly like their human counterparts as they integrated with native Yamato and Emishi beliefs, while others failed to get any reception and faded out of existence in the new lands.

"What do you believe in, Midoriya?" He asked simply. "What?" The man sighed, "Call me superstitious, but I believe in things that most men don't. Those beliefs are ingrained in me, they dictate my actions and they've saved my life. My gut tells me man should never have entered this place, so I listen." He looked serious and yet unbothered all at once as he turned his face towards the sky, taking his cigarette to tap the ash off into the sea. "If you believe in anything at all, I'd get back on this damn boat kid." Izuku was many things; Reckless? Certainly. A Coward? Never. **WARNINGS: Referenced sexual and physical assault, torture, blood, gore, violence. PLEASE read with these in mind.** P.s.
