However, the Kings and Queens of the Land can't stop him like they used to. They're older and weaker; the Land needs the younger generation to stop him before the Element of Time overalls everything and everyone... There and Back Again [Big Four/RotBTD]
The Big Four. Four BFFs from hundreds of years ago. A series of accidental meetings that blossomed into strong friendships. Until one of them moves. And then dies. The other three are devastated by this news. They decide not to have their planned meeting when they turn 18. But fate chooses to unite the four once more. They enjoy hours of reminiscing and story-telling, and get glimpses of how life has been good to each of them. My book follows the story lines of all of the movies almost exactly. I changed RotG to better fit the timeline, though, causing Jack Frost to become a Guardian very soon after dying instead of hundreds of years later. This is a Big Four story. "This... is not the end..." he tells me in a weak but sure tone, making it hard for me to doubt even in a time as dark as this... There's something more in his eyes. "He's gone back in time and killed them before they were Guardians..." I say. "All except you... He does not know of your origins... Keep it that way... And find them." There's something in his voice that tells me he's not talking about the Guardians. "...Find who?" "Find the girl of the golden flower... Find the girl who never misses... And find the man who tames the beast of the night..." He speaks with deep meaning behind his words. My eyebrows are pulled together in thought but also devastation because of the life leaving his body... I can't help but be confused however at his odd words... He takes my hand in both of his and shuts his eyes... a golden light burning through our palms as the world around me disappears and everything shuts down. I feel like I am falling but also unconscious... The Guardians are a group of unique people, and creatures, that help protect the children of the world. Follow The Big Five on their journey to many different lands as they fight to end Pitch Black once and for all. Alright so I know it sounds just like any other "big five" story you have ever read...but I promise it is so much more than that. Every story is unique and I just want to share my version of this fandom(?) with you. _________________________________________________________ This is a Jelsa story... I don't ship Jackunzel so I'm sorry if that's what you wanted but IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IN THIS STORY! I'm still debating if I want this to be a Merricup or Hiccstrid story. This story is a HUGE spoiler if you haven't seen any of the movies that it's based off of. SO... if you haven't seen Frozen, Tangled, Brave, Rise of the Guardians, or the first How to Train Your Dragon... DON'T READ THIS STORY! Jack is a guardian, Elsa can control her powers, Merida and her mother have healed their bond, Rapunzel has healing hair and hasn't met Eugene (yet), and Hiccup isn't gorgeous (yet). CHARACTER AGES Elsa: 21 Jack: 17 (duh. But technically 322 (I did the math)) Hiccup: 17 Merida: 16 Rapunzel: 17 I am already planning the next two books in this series.
