18 year old best friends April and James have big problems. April really wants to ask Mason out and James really wants to break up with his rude girlfriend Victoria, so they both promise each other that on the night of the big after graduation party they will do just that. But for James to break up with Victoria he has to lie about having feelings for April and he kisses her in front of everyone at the party. Including Mason. April reluctantly agrees to pretend to date James so that Victoria will leave him alone, but when April's family finds out they end up lying to not only to their friends, but also their family. Meanwhile April tries to get closer to Mason, but what happens when James finds out his feelings for his long time best friend end up being real?

The fall had been a big mood ring for Oskar. Breaking the school rules he gets almost expelled from school, but it brings him and Aaron together for the first time in 2 years. Oskar kisses 2 times Aaron, but he doesn't seem to reciprocate his feelings, especially that he's hetero and has a girlfriend. Oskar finds new friends and gets popular for the first time, and everybody starts noticing him, which was one of the biggest dreams for Oskar. However, his new friends turned to be fake, allowing Oskar to get beaten to death. Even though Aaron previously seemed to not care for Oskar, he was the only one who visited Oskar in the hospital every day. After spending the whole winter in hospital, Aaron finally comes out of the hospital and rejoins his friends in school. All eyes in school will be once again turned on a 15-years old boy. Is he ready to confront his fake friends who let him be beaten in a conspiracy. Will he graduate the junior high school having so many setbacks on his head? Will he forgive Aaron eventually? Is Aaron going to reciprocate Oskar's feelings? It's all written in the stars...The last part of my trilogy "Something Like Summer"
