I stepped back out into the lightly lit hallway and began to walk towards the final room, the pink and purple door. I giggled at the sign that hung on the back, reading, ¨No Boys Allowed!¨. I pushed the door open, softly this time, and peered around the room of a little girl.
Her bed was still made, her toys were picked up and placed neatly into the correct places. The window sills were white, and the carpet was a soft pink. I looked towards the closet and a surprised smile crossed my lips.
She left her pictures up on the walls.
I ran my fingers softly over the photographs, sadness slowly morphing my smile into a grimace. She was so small, blonde, and beautiful. I walked over to the rest of the pictures - freezing as the floor groaned underneath my weight. I tensed my body, waiting for my heartbeat to slow before looking at the pictures once again.
My fingers froze over one photograph, the photograph that held four little girls rather than one. A blonde, two brunettes...and one black-haired little girl sat perched with big smiles underneath the big tree. That little raven-haired girl, was me. My eyes flew open as I named the two brunette girls from school. Sarah, and Kaylnn, and? I looked at the back of the photo for the name of the blonde girl.
¨Anna?¨
My heart began to pound as realization dawned on me. The little blonde girl, the tree, the woods, this house? I whirled and stepped forward, my mind racing at the revelation of a memory. Just as my foot went down, I lurched forward and plummeted through the floor of the room. I heard the sound of a scream echo throughout my ears, along with the cracking of the woods and the whirring of air in my ears.
I landed on my back, two floors down. The noise had been replaced with a steady ringing noise, and my body was numb. I felt the steady thud of my heartbeat, until a beautiful silence surrounded me.
I told you, I adore the sound of silence.

Five cousins choose to spend their summer break in a village called Ravenwood where they are to reside in a cabin surrounded by nothing but woods and secrets for at least two weeks. Not only this, the village and the cabin have a dark past of its own...and present too. The latter one quite literally since the devil has itself decided to lurk the hallways of their cabin leaving them to choose between their own survival and each other's. Bloodshed, demons, ghosts, murders, gore and superstitions with tiny bits of romance, friendships and family love: CURSED is a mixture of all the kinds of emotions and genres you can think of. ******* Bang bang! I stood up from the water slowly and steadily trying not to trip and picked up the towel, wrapping myself in it immediately. The water was dripping wherever I went and with my back at the door, I frantically stepped backwards and reached the doorknob from behind, turning it to the left to open, all while not letting my eyes stray away from the window. I turned and turned, but it didn't open. My eyes went wide when realisation struck in. I WAS TRAPPED. I rattled through my brain, trying to find a way, trying to think how I can keep fighting because no matter what the situation is, still I didn't want to lose, my eyes stuck on the redness of the thing on my window. The bathroom was on the second floor. There was no way, it was a person; and that's what scared me the most. And then suddenly, I heard a click. ******** [This story contains explicit language and gory details. Read at your own risk.] Top Ranks: #3 in cabininthewoods #1 in adolescene

Everything was gone. I sobbed, my clothes ripped and I was bleeding, but it didn't matter. I had to get to her, to them. Had to find- Struggling to stand, I grasped my side, biting back the scream that wanted to escape. I looked down at my hands and red coated them, blurring together until I couldn't see anything anymore. I squeezed my eyes shut, forcing my panicked breathing to slow, until I felt in control of myself again. It had been so long, I thought as I turned my peeling and dry face to the sun, my fingers shaking as I struggled to make sense of them. For so long, I'd been a wolf, cursed. All that I was, or could've been had been reduced to nothing but an animal driven by instinct, bloodlust, thousands of lives met their ends at the edges of my razor sharp claws. I had no idea where I was, how much time had passed. My fingers touched something hard in the sand, and a jolt of information went through me as Queen Azalea's sword, gleamed as I pulled it free. My heart started to pound as sun glinted off of the blade, reflecting back at me. I nearly dropped the metal when I saw myself. I took a second look and saw white hair, caked with dirt, and yellow eyes, blue veins sparking in their depths. All at once, I remembered who I was. I remembered why I was here, how much time had passed. I am Azalea Marie Albescu, The Queen Alpha. A false queen sits on my throne, controls what's mine. I would have to make my way back to my pack, my family, and my home, if still there. I would rise again, as I had before, and reclaim what belongs to me. DISCLAIMER: AS WITH MANY OF MY STORIES, I DO IMPLICATE SITUATIONS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT/ABUSE. Not in any way do I intend to glamorize this behavior, I write about these delicate and painful situations because I myself relate to them and will always fight for survivors, including myself. Thank you for your understanding and if you are in any way uncomfortable reading these stories, I encourage you to look elsewhere.

The leaving. It was hard, tragic , painful, yet it had to be done, I needed to save my life. I didn't want to start again, this would be the story of finding myself, pulling myself back together, reuniting the happy go lucky youngster I had once been. The shock of leaving took more of a toll on me than I thought it would. I had asked two people to help me move out of the house I had shared with my partner for 8 years, we had been together 23 years in total. The move was done in total secrecy, my partner could never know in advance, it was a very scary time. I had moved various things out of the house and secured a rent on a property nearby. The house I picked was near the School the children went to, and my oldest lad was going to be near his best friend. My Mother told me of the property it was advertised on the web, we both went and had a look, even that was scary, I didn't want to be seen by anyone and became paranoid that I would be caught out. For many months I lived on a new kind of fear, the fear of someone finding out that I planned to leave my abusive partner, though of course no one knew my seemingly happy, funny, generous partner was abusive. Finding the house was one thing, getting the various companies to connect the house and exchanging the information of my current address so they could varify that I was, who I said I was almost drove me mad. The day came to leave, My Mother and a very dear Friend came round as early as possible, we packed as much as we could. This included taking the boys clothes, bedding, toys, stuff from the garden, my stuff. We had 3 cars the packing seem to take all day. By the end we had to get going to be able to unpack, leaving me time to pick up the boys from School and settle them in their new home. I couldn't do it at first,I started to cry then scream, to leave the world I had put so much of my life into, and now in a split second would be leaving was breaking my heart.
