Back before Claire came back into the Winchesters. Back when she was just some 12 year old they met once. Sam was trying to maintain normality working at a bar. That is, until some fellow hunters showed up. They wanted Sam to drink demon blood and after he refused, a fight followed. However, they were left alive. Which may just be a mistake on the Winchester's part. Things only get more complicated when they're not the only ones in search of the young blonde.
