As a young child, Mars Ordeal always dreamed of being a Pokemon trainer, however that dream was quickly crushed by his parents who demanded he let go of such "foolish" dreams and help keep the family business going.
Every year Mars' childhood friend, Evan takes a break from his trainer travels to visit Mars. Well this year Mars is 18 and Evan makes an interesting suggestion.
Mars accepts and heads out on his own pokemon journey with his childhood companion Toxel as he strives to become one of the best in his region, Renhart.

Now though, Ash must rise above this and prove the traitors wrong, starting with redemption.
