Behind you are these ruins
Things have been scribbled and scratched into the walls
Etchings of battles
Lone people fighting hordes of monsters
Lone lights shining through waves of violent self doubt
And you're there
Possibly millennia after these events occurred
The author long gone
The echo in the background left by someone trying to make a difference
You have a choice
Things could be in these scribbled that no one should ever have to bear
But you feel... drawn to it
To keep reading
To listen to the ancient babbling of someone who's been forgotten
To...
To...
To hear me out
To listen to me
To let me make an impact
To listen to a teenager high on life making decisions that last lifetimes
To let someone who once thought there was no hope
Who once thought they had no home
Into your heart
To not hear
But listen
And hear my heartbeat
Like a feather in the breeze
Get blown away
And never seen again
