When Dakota goes out for a late night snack at Taco Bell, the last thing she expects is to rear end a hearse in the middle of traffic while talentlessly attempting to unwrap her favorite burrito. Angry at her burrito splattering against her windshield and also ruining her favorite set of pajamas, Dakota gets out of the car to fight the person she thinks caused the accident, but instead finds a violet-haired boy who looks more than confused. Stuck in the middle of a major street with only a thin pair of pajamas and a destroyed burrito, Dakota has no choice but to suck it up and team up with the strange boy to avoid having to pay one hell of a bill.

Don't forget to clean up after yourself, and get good grades in school." The boy's mother ruffles his hair and kisses him on the cheek. "I love you buddy. I'll be back in a few years.
